As the Managing Partner of Blackpine Capital, Richard oversees investment sourcing and valuation, transaction structuring, acquisition financing, fundraising, and value creation strategies. Richard brings over a decade of experience in private equity, strategy and financial services.
Before founding Blackpine Capital, Richard worked as an investment professional at Audax Private Equity, a Boston-based private equity firm managing approximately $27 billion in AUM, where he covered healthcare and business services. Prior to his role at Audax, Richard was with Morgan Stanley in their Healthcare Investment Banking group in New York City.
He began his professional journey at Artisan Healthcare Consulting, strategy consulting services to the life sciences industy.
Richard holds a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Dartmouth College and holds an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
